Blair N. Mendes

Blair Mendes received both his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University in 1997 and 2000, respectively.

Prior to joining Wilkes and McHugh, P.A. in 2003, Mr. Mendes was a prosecutor with the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office.

Mr. Mendes manages litigation for the Florida office and has been involved in numerous trials, settlements, and appellate decisions resulting in millions of dollars for clients. He was co-counsel in a 2010 case that resulted in a $114 million nursing home verdict - a record in Polk County, Florida.

Other achievements by Mr. Mendes include recognition as a "Rising Star" in Florida by Super Lawyers magazine and serving on the Board of Directors for the Young Lawyer Division of the Florida Justice Association.

He is licensed to practice law in Florida and Kentucky. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, Florida Justice Association, and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
