William P. Murray, III
William Murray received his B.S. in government from Liberty University. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C., where he was awarded the Mooers Trophy for trial practice.
Prior to joining Wilkes & McHugh, P.A. as an attorney, Mr. Murray worked for the firm as a law clerk.
In 2011 and 2010, Mr. Murray was voted a "Pennsylvania Rising Star" by Super Lawyers Magazine - an honor awarded to attorneys in Pennsylvania who have been practicing for 10 years or less. The recognition is awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of all practicing attorneys in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Murray is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C. He is a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C. state bars, as well as ATLA – New Jersey, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
